What a relief it is that we serve a God who knows how the world operates. It is a beauty that we don’t have to worry about making things move so this world can run and operate efficiently; imagine the stress of having to make it happen if it was our job, the task would be unbearable. I find great comfort and joy knowing that everything is under control around me, and greater relief comes from the fact that I have nothing to do with it meaning that I am free to enjoy! (more…)

It is crazy to think about the fact that God actually trusts us with His heart and His vision. (more…)

I am a strong believer in having a purpose for everything that we as people, or in this case why I choose to say or do the things that we/I say or do. Life is about purpose and we either choose to live with purpose or die on purpose. When it comes down to the talk of “religion” and why Jesus? There are many reasons as to why in my life I chose to choose Jesus, but this morning I was reminded of why I choose Jesus every single day. But first, let me guide you through my morning in order to arrive at the “why Jesus moment.” (more…)

As I sit and gaze around the room I notice a grand purpose of what life is about. The chairs, the walls, the drinks, and decorations are all just an excuse to walk in the purpose of life. The people come, they sit, they drink and most important, they engage. If there is something I have learned about life in Lesbos is that relationships are a priority. They are a must and without them, people perish. Without relationships, there is no meaning. (more…)

How can the Spirit of God, also known as the comforter play the role of a comforter if all our lives are full of comfort? Recently I began to think about the plans God has communicated with me regarding my life and calling, and there’s something tough in store. In one hand, God is calling me to a life where my business is people. My career being a missionary and loving co-heir with Christ, bringing “good news to the poor, Binding up the broken-hearted, proclaiming freedom to the captives, releasing from darkness the prisoners, etc… (Isaiah 61). On the other hand, there is the consequences of the first decision. Leaving my life, my friends, my future as I planned it without knowledge of when I may return or see the family again. While time goes on I catch myself in a fight between my call and my heart.

During His time here on earth Jesus would see a need and just like any man on a mission, He would do what was needed to fill the need. During this time of need as the world roams around with fear in their hearts in response to ISIS and the attempted terrorizing, what are you doing to bring about the hope of Jesus to those in need? Would you consider taking a step of faith to work alongside Jesus to fill the need that is at hand?

In a world full of room for God to move from situations like ISIS, violence, poverty, human trafficking, etc. there are endless possibilities of ways for Jesus to use us. Solomon in Ecclesiastes stated it very clearly when he said,
“A dream comes when there are many cares” (Ecclesiastes 5:3).

This one is for all my believers in Christ out in the world. Just as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), I have a few simple questions to ask. Are you flying? In relation to your creator, where is your life? I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that there is no offense with what will be spoken of in the following minutes and that you may take these questions as evaluation for where you are in life. I love you all but the truth sometimes hurts, but hey let’s have some fun.

It’s been quite some time since I last uploaded a post, but it is not because I have been lazy. I’ve been traveling ministering around in a few countries in Europe, so time has been a little tight due to evangelism and simply just loving on people since people need to be loved.

If there is a season in life common to all Christians, I would say that it is the season of identity. In this season the goal is to find one’s identity away from the things in this world. This season is known strongly for being a time of self-reflection and seeking to know one’s self through one’s creator. (more…)
